Belize Barrier Reef is a series of coral reels off the coast of Belize. Home to a one of the most important ecosystems in the world, the reef system has 70 hard coral species, 36 soft coral species, 500 species of fish and hundreds of invertebrate species. It extends for some 300 km, making it the second only to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.
