Jaco Island

Jaco is an island in the Lesser Sunda Islands belonging to East Timor. It is separated from the mainland by a narrow channel and covers an area of about 10 square km. The island is uninhabited. It is considered holy by the indigenous population, so setting foot on the island is forbidden.
