Since it's always cool to see what other kids and classes are doing in other parts of the world, we'd be really happy if you could send us pictures of what you and your friends are doing connected to the New 7 Wonders project. We will feature them here or link to your school web site. Please contact us by email before you send us pictures or other data at kids(at)n7w.com and we will let you know how best to send us your work so it can be shared with your new friends around the globe!
Centro Escolar del Paseo, Mexico City, Mexico
English Teacher Ana Gabriela Bàrcena of the Centro Escolar del Paseo guided her third grade students through a project based on the New7Wonders. Students chose 10 of the finalist candidates, investigated and researched the site and then presented the project to other students and parents.

Seven English-Español – Vl Mariana school in São Paulo, Brazil
Students at Seven English-Español – Vl Mariana have just finished a semester project about the New Seven Wonders. Adults, teens and kids that study at the language institute presented the result of their research recently to the whole school.
Sixth Grade Students, Gymnasia #2, Orenburg, Russia
Anastasia Dmitrievna Yulusova's 6th grade students studied and researched the ancient world wonders, as well as the current New7Wonders candidates. Students then created posters and models of the site and created a PowerPoint presentation about St. Bazil's Cathedral. Take a look at the results.
Elementary School, Schenectady, New York
All 21 classrooms in the Pleasant Valley Elementary School participated in a 21-week project highlighting the New7Wonders candidates. At the end of the project, there was a "Wonder-ful World Expo" for parents and children, featuring craft stations and an African storyteller.
Centro de Padres, Colegio Huelquen Montessori, Santiago de Chile
Thirteen classrooms at the school worked together to represent Chilean heritage in a work of art and created a giant puzzle of the Moai, the Statues at Easter Island that are New7Wonders candidate.
Brentwood Middle School, Brentwood, TN, USA
Students in Patty Garman's sixth grade social studies classes at Brentwood Middle School in Brentwood, TN, culminated their study of world history by participating in the New7Wonders project. The students researched and wrote detailed advertising campaigns to promote their candidates. Click here to see their work.
Henley Middle School, Albemarle County, Virgina, USA
Ms. Dusci's 8th grade honors English students have created persuasive vodcasts on their favorite candidates for the New 7 Wonders of the World. Aqaba International School, Aqaba, Jordan
Located along the Gulf of Aqaba on the Red Sea and just a two hour drive to PETRA, Aqaba and its students are excited about having a local candidate for the New7Wonders of the World. Click here to see their creative efforts to promote their favorite candidate!
Building Assembling Industrial School, Romania
Nadina C. Nicolici, an English teacher at the Building Assembling Industrial School Cluster in Drobeta Turnu Severin, Romania, headed up a project based on the New7Wonders that includes panel presentations, PowerPoints and articles for a brochure. Click here to view their creations.
Jacob Wismer Elementary, Portland, OR, USA
David Leahy, a 5th grade teacher and technology facilitator at Jacob Wismer Elementary, launched a project to have students campaign for their favorite wonders. When they completed the persuasive writing it was posted on the school’s web page. Top choices were the Statue of Liberty, Christ Redeemer, Taj Mahal and the Great Wall of China. TJMS is our latest SCHOOL CHAMPION! Students worked on a quilt project and spread the word about the New7Wonders throughout the community to drive votes!
Middle Gate School, Newtown, CT, USA
Fourth graders throughout Middle Gate School researched and created "commercials" based on the New7Wonders project. Take a look at their creations.
Hart-Ransom School, Modesto, California, USA
Sara Martin, a Computer Literature teacher at Hart-Ransom School, discovered the New7Wonders Project last Fall and decided it would be a great chance for students to create web sites highlighting their choices for the New7Wonders! Clayton Middle School, Clayton, NC, USA
The Global Connections elective class at Clayton Middle School conducted a school-wide vote for the top New7Wonders. Each students became a campaign manager for a specific candidate and researched their site, as well as the country it is located in. Click here to learn more about their presentations.
The Centro Educativo Piaget in Merida, Mexico Students at Centro Educativo
Piaget, a constructivist school on the Yucatan Peninsula (where New7Wonders candidate Chichén Itzá is located), have created a video to educate children, parents and teachers in the school on the New7Wonders project and highlight information about Chichén Itzá. More than 1,000 students voted.
Howard Perrin Elementary School, Arkansas, USA
Pam Sloper, a technology instructor at Howard Perrin Elementary School, has been following the New7Wonders project since the Spring of 2005 and wanted to bring the details of the campaign to the 660 students in the school. Take a look at what they’ve done!
Perth Amboy Public Schools, New Jersey, USA
The class of Mr. Heidelberg in the Perth Amboy Public Schools, New Jersey, USA, is working on a New 7 Wonders Project that stresses researching and persuasive writing skills. There are several links on the site featuring helpful Resources that were developed for this project. Take a look!
Bilfen Schools, Istanbul, Turkey
Ten- to 15-year-old students from several classes at the Bilfen Schools in Istanbul, Turkey, created PowerPoint presentations about the Hagia Sophia after reviewing the information about all of the 21 finalists on the New7Wonders web site. Students also created a poster and encouraged their family and friends to vote for their favorite sites. Some other students are working on models of the Hagia Sophia for their Fine Arts projects.
Gateway School in Santa Cruz, California, USA
The 7th Grade students of Mr. Keister at the Gateway School in Santa Cruz, California, recently completed a project inspired by New7Wonders to re-create scale models of all 7 Ancient Wonders of the World.
Priory School, Suffolk, England
The Year 9 Humanities class has come to the end of a fascinating 10-week learning process that has seen the students begin with the 7 Ancient Wonders of the World, and conclude with their 7 New Wonders of the World!
York, Maine, USA
A class of York High School in York, Maine, USA, has been studying the New7Wonders finalists and students are basing a voting campaign on the project and will present ideas to their classmates and VOTE!

The "Wonders Team" created a fantastic Wonders of the World website, complete with quizzes, games and lots of other fun stuff.
