Seven Wonders at Seven! The project started in March when students researched about the Ancient Seven Wonders and how history around the ancient sites was made. From that moment on, students were assigned one of the 21 candidates of the The Official New 7 Wonders of the World list, to research on. The research was done mostly in the classroom, with the guidance of the
teachers. Students had to research and present their final work in the language they were studying – either English or Spanish. The presentations were done as speeches and they could choose to use Power Point, posters or any other tools to help their delivery.

It was a very enriching experience for the students, not only because they were actively practicing the reading, writing and speaking skills in a foreign language, but mostly because they used these skills to discover places, learn about other cultures and their people. In
addition, being part of worldwide project made students feel very proud of living on a planet where so many wonderful things are built and preserved.
